JAL Deploys Boeing 777-300ER for Tokyo/Haneda-Helsinki Route
A third cargo-only aircraft (Airbus A321-200P2F, registration number: F-WTBZ) operated jointly by Japan Airlines (JAL) and Yamato Holdings is set to arrive at Narita Airport tomorrow morning, April 9th.
Formerly a Qatar Airways aircraft, it was refurbished in Singapore by Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), a German company jointly established by Airbus and ST Engineering, a Singapore engineering firm.
After departing from Singapore’s Seletar Airport on April 18th at 7:21 PM, it will make a stopover at Taoyuan International Airport in Taipei, Taiwan, before arriving at Narita International Airport on April 19th at around 7:00 AM.
The aircraft features a gray base color with the symbol of the Yamato Group, a black cat carrying a kitten, near the nose and the Advance Mark on the vertical tail fin. Yamato Holdings has leased three Airbus A321-200P2Fs, JAL is responsible for maintenance, ramp handling, and Spring Japan, a JAL subsidiary, will operate the flights.
