JTB Launches Additional Sales for Toyama Prefecture’s ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’
JTB (Japan Travel Bureau) has started additional online sales for the ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ for Toyama Prefecture from April 18.
The sale on JTB’s website includes accommodation and combinations of flights or rail plus accommodation tours.
The ‘Hokuriku Support Discount’ is a travel support initiative for Fukui, Ishikawa, Toyama, and Niigata Prefectures, which were affected by the Noto Peninsula Earthquake. It applies to accommodations booked from March 16 to April 26 (with check-out the following day). The discount covers 50% of the travel cost, with a maximum of 20,000 yen for standalone accommodations or accommodations with transport, 30,000 yen for accommodations with transport for two nights or more, and 35,000 yen for itinerant travel staying in two or more prefectures. It is targeted at domestic and inbound travelers, excluding business travel and accommodations or bookings made before the start of the promotion.
