MRO Japan to Offer Cargo Conversion Services for Airbus Aircraft in Agreement with Elbe Flugzeugwerke
MRO Japan and Elbe Flugzeugwerke have agreed to provide conversion services from passenger to freighter aircraft (P2F) for Airbus models.
MRO Japan will undertake the conversion work from passenger to freighter models for Airbus A320 and Airbus A321 aircraft from Elbe Flugzeugwerke. This will mark the first time that MRO Japan will perform cargo aircraft conversion work on Airbus models in Japan.
Jordi Boto, CEO of Elbe Flugzeugwerke, said, “We are eager to welcome MRO Japan into our P2F global family, and we believe the success of the A321P2F conversion for our client, Yūyō, and the ultimate client, Yamato Holdings, perfectly matches the cargo transportation needs in Japan and the surrounding regions. Establishing a partnership with an experienced and excellent stakeholder like MRO Japan will capture the growing opportunities in the Japanese air freight market, providing MRO Japan with necessary strategic support.”
