Tokyu Corporation will increase the frequency of its paid reserved seat service ‘Q SEAT’ on the Tokyu Toyoko Line starting May 7, along with changing the service details.
Now, there will be two trains departing Shibuya Station at 6:35 PM and 7:05 PM. Therefore, a total of seven trains will be operated per day. In addition, the service will be scaled down from setting in two carriages to one carriage.
‘Q SEAT’ is available on some of the 5050 series trains operated from late afternoon to evening on weekdays. These trains head from Shibuya Station to Motomachi-Chukagai Station and feature convertible cross-seats. The service offers power outlets, cup holders, and Wi-Fi. The seat reservation fee is 500 yen.
