It is a rebranding of the former Tabist KIYOMIZU Gion, located along the pilgrimage road to Kiyomizu Temple, on Matsubara Street. It is a building that won the Excellent Prize in the Architecture Category of the Kyoto Landscape Award in 2018, and is characterized by an exterior that naturally blends into the streets of Kyoto while being a hotel.
The building is five stories high, offering six types of rooms totaling 17: Standard Twin, Superior Queen, Superior Twin, Deluxe Queen, Deluxe Twin, and Comfort Twin. In the lobby, sofas using tatami mats are provided, and the interior decoration aims for a Japanese modern atmosphere, equipped with bookends and flower vases imported from Europe.
Access is about a 7-minute walk from Keihan Railway’s Kiyomizu Gojo Station.
