Tokyo Bay Ferry Announces Continued Reduced Service Until May 2 Due to Repairs on the Shirahama Maru
The Tokyo Bay Ferry will continue its reduced service on the Kurihama Port to Kanaya Port route until May 2.
The reduction in service has been ongoing since March 22 due to repairs on the “Shirahama Maru,” which was damaged in the stern area by a sudden gust on March 20. Around seven round trips are operated daily, approximately every two hours. During the Golden Week holiday period, congestion is expected at the ferry docks and surrounding roads, and ticket distribution is planned for the busiest times.
The operating schedule after May 3 will be determined based on the repair status of the “Shirahama Maru.”
