JR East Cross Station Development Company has announced the opening of the Ekina-ka commercial facility ‘ecute Akihabara’ within JR Akihabara Station in the spring of 2025.
This will be the 16th store in the ‘ecute’ brand, which is deployed at metropolitan terminal stations. About 20 stores will be set up across approximately 900 square meters between the Central Ticket Gates and the Electric Town Ticket Gates on the first floor inside the ticket gates. Targeting office workers, hobbyist visitors, and tourists, the facility aims to provide stores and events that cater to a diverse range of customers.
