JR Tower Hotel Nikko Sapporo will renovate its afternoon tea set starting May 1.
The set consists of four types of sweets and six types of savory items, along with scones and bread in a separate basket. Seasonal ingredients will be incorporated, and the menu will be updated every two months. The set is popular as a lunch option, providing a satisfying selection of light meals.
The menu for May and June features sweets such as haskap and white chocolate mousse, and a matcha roll topped with large strawberries, while the savory items include a quiche with sakura shrimp and asparagus, and bonito balsamic marinade with an orange flavor. The drink selection offers 17 types of free-flow beverages, including teas from the German brand “Ronnefeldt”, coffee, and seasonal non-alcoholic cocktails.
Located on the first floor at ‘The Lobby Lounge’. Available from 1 PM to 5 PM (last admission). The price is 3,500 yen (service charge and tax included), with an option that includes sparkling wine for 4,200 yen (same).
