MUDANI and Project One have opened a new lodging facility, ‘ANJIN Gosho Ebisugawa,’ for exclusive rental on May 1.
Located near Nijo Castle in Kyoto, on Ebisugawa Street, this facility is a renovated detached house that now serves as a private lodging. As part of the ‘ANJIN’ brand, it follows the opening of ‘ANJIN Gion Shirakawa’ in Kyoto’s Shirakawa area in 2020, marking the second facility of its kind.
The design integrates Japanese traditional and modern aesthetics to match Kyoto’s cityscape. The first floor has been restructured to offer a spacious modern area for living, dining, and bathing, while the second floor has been renovated to preserve the original living spaces. It accommodates up to seven guests and is designed to be accessible, in accordance with the regulations of Kyoto City.
Access is approximately a 5-minute walk from Marutamachi Station on the Kyoto Municipal Subway Karasuma Line, or about a 15-minute drive from Kyoto Station.
