The Asakusa View Hotel is hosting the “Bulgarian Rose Fair” from May 8 to July 12.
This event is being held in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Japan, under an official ambassador-endorsed partnership agreement signed in December 2023.
Prior to the fair’s opening, the Sky Grill Buffet Musashi on the 26th floor will start serving Bulgarian dishes from April 27, including the ambassador’s family recipe for “Banitsa”, the typical Bulgarian gratin dish “Moussaka”, and the classic minced meat dish “Kebapche”, totaling 14 varieties.
On the 28th floor, the Ice House will offer “Bulgarian Rose Afternoon Tea”, featuring desserts using yoghurt and Bulgarian rose water, and traditional savory dishes. Three types of honey will accompany the selection. Drinks, including various teas and coffee, will be available on a free-flow basis, and a non-alcoholic cocktail “Rose Mlyako” topped with rose syrup and petals will be provided as a toast beverage.
Sweets & Bakery Honoka on the first floor will prepare Bulgarian home-style dishes turned into bread, such as moussaka bread and rose honey bread. Example menu items include rose honey banitsa, rose honey yogurt bread, moussaka bread, and kadaif with white beans and pecan nuts.
Buffet service hours are from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM (90 minutes) on weekdays for lunch, 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (same), and from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM (120 minutes) on weekdays for dinner, 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays (same). Prices start from 5,500 yen for adults, 3,900 yen for elementary school children, and 1,100 yen for preschoolers (aged 3 to 5 years). All prices include service charge and tax.
Afternoon tea is available from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM (last order at 3:00 PM) on weekdays, and in two-hour slots from 1:00 PM and 3:15 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The price is 5,000 yen, including service charges and tax.
