Fujiiya Ryokan will open ‘Momiji KUREHA’ on June 2nd in Shiobara Onsen, Tochigi.
This is the first condominium villa with a private open-air bath in Shiobara Onsen, situated along the Hosokawa River, next to its sister hotel, ‘Hanare no Yado Kaedeon.’ The facility consists of a main building and four villas. The two-story villas are in a maisonette style, with a living room on the first floor and a semi-open-air bath with flowing spring water and a private rock sauna on the second floor.
Guests can choose between having a barbecue in the villa or dining at a restaurant with a live kitchen. The ingredients used include seasonal highland vegetables grown in their own farm, local brand materials, and seafood delivered daily from Ishikawa Prefecture. For breakfast, a Japanese-style ‘KUREHA-CO meal’ bento box with seasonal ingredients is offered.
Access is about a 65-minute bus ride from Nasu Shiobara Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen, or about a 30-minute drive from the Tohoku Expressway Nishi-Nasuno Shiobara Interchange (IC).
