Kyosei Bank Announces Construction Plan for ‘GATEWAY NARITA’ Near Narita International Airport
Kyosei Bank has revealed plans to construct a mixed-use facility, ‘GATEWAY NARITA,’ near Narita International Airport.
The site area will be approximately 44.5 square meters, with a total floor area of about 380,000 square meters. The opening is scheduled for March 2027. In addition to an arena featuring a 6,000 square meter screen and over 5,000 seats, the plan includes the area’s largest hotel, research and development facilities aimed at expanding the export of Japanese food, a bus terminal, and parking buildings.
At the press conference held at the Imperial Hotel on May 9, Yasuhito Ejima, Head of Business Development at Kyosei Bank, Ken Shigematsu, Co-CEO of Laguarda.Low Architects, and Saburo Maeda, President of Kyodo Factory, were present to explain the details.
For this project, the group has raised funds from individual investors through its small-scale real estate investment service, ‘Everyone’s Landlord,’ for the ‘Narita Airport Surrounding Development Project’ 18 times to date. With an approximate operation period of 5 years and a high expected yield of 7%, questions have been raised on social media due to the perceived lack of progress in the development.
