Shanghai Airlines is set to launch a new route between Shanghai/Pudong and Marseille on July 2.
The service will operate three round trips a week, on Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using the Boeing 787-9 aircraft. The flight duration will be 12 hours and 45 minutes from Shanghai/Pudong, and 12 hours and 5 minutes from Marseille.
Marseille is a port city in the south of France. This will be the first direct flight to connect China and Marseille.
