Hawaiian Airlines has inaugurated its Honolulu-Salt Lake City route on May 15.
The route operates one round trip per day, utilizing an Airbus A321neo equipped with 16 premium cabin seats, 45 extra comfort seats, and 128 economy class seats, totaling 189 seats.
This marks Hawaiian Airlines’ first entry into Salt Lake City. Utah, where Salt Lake City is located, is one of the states with the highest population of Pacific Islanders in the United States, hosting approximately 60,000 residents. Salt Lake City becomes the 16th destination in the continental United States for Hawaiian Airlines.
To celebrate the inaugural flight, passengers were greeted at the gate with lei, passion orange guava juice and cake, and live music.
