China Southern Airlines Launches Shenzhen-Mexico City Route Starting May 11 with Two Round Trips Weekly
China Southern Airlines has inaugurated the Shenzhen-Mexico City route on May 11.
The service operates two round trips weekly, departing Shenzhen on Tuesdays and Saturdays, and from Mexico City on Wednesdays and Sundays. Aircraft used for this route is the Airbus A350-900, configured with 28 business class seats and 307 economy class seats, totaling 335 seats.
The flight duration is 16 hours from Shenzhen and 21 hours 20 minutes from Mexico City. The flight from Shenzhen is direct, and the return flight from Mexico City includes refueling in Tijuana.
The flight covers a distance of approximately 8,800 miles (about 14,000 kilometers), making it the longest route operated by any Chinese airline.
