WestJet Airlines has inaugurated its Calgary-Reykjavik route on May 15.
Flights from Calgary operate on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while flights from Reykjavik are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, running four round trips per week. The service will operate until October 13, utilizing the Boeing 737-8 aircraft. Flight durations are six and a half hours from Calgary, and six hours and 58 minutes from Reykjavik.
This service links Calgary with seven European cities. There’s also an enhanced interline agreement with Icelandair, providing access to various European destinations via Reykjavik.
