Air New Zealand to Deploy Boeing 777-300ERs on All Flights Between Tokyo/Narita and Auckland for Winter Schedule

Air New Zealand will deploy Boeing 777-300ER aircraft on all flights of the Tokyo/Narita to Auckland route during its winter schedule period.

The aircraft, equipped with 44 Business Premier seats, 54 Premium Economy seats, and 244 Economy seats for a total of 342 seats, will operate one round trip per day. Another configuration with 40 Business Premier seats, 32 Premium Economy seats, and 296 Economy seats for a total of 368 seats, will operate three round trips per week, making for a total of ten round trips per week. The flight time is 10 hours and 35 minutes from Tokyo/Narita, and 10 hours and 55 minutes from Auckland.

Currently, the route is served by one daily round trip using Boeing 787-9 aircraft. As a result, the number of available seats on this route during the winter schedule period will increase by 21,000 seats compared to the previous year, with the majority being Business Premier and Premium Economy class.
