JR West to Launch ‘Osaka Dice Ticket’ on May 23, Where Destination is Decided by Dice Roll
JR West Japan will sell the ‘Osaka Dice Ticket’ from May 23 to July 10.
This ticket allows for a round trip in ordinary car reserved seats on Shinkansen and express trains originating from Osaka City. The destination, which can be Kinosaki Onsen, Miyajimaguchi (Hiroshima), Shirahama, or Hakata, is determined by the roll of dice. The travel period is from May 24 to July 11, spanning two consecutive days.
Entry is required to purchase. The entry period is from May 23 to June 30, requiring 1,000 WESTER points per person per entry. The price is 5,000 yen for departures from Monday to Thursday, and 8,000 yen for departures from Friday to Sunday, including the points used for entry. Up to three tickets can be purchased per person, and points must be paid collectively by the representative. Refunds are not available.
