IHG Hotels & Resorts has signed a management agreement with Kashima Construction to open ‘ANA Holiday Inn Resort Karuizawa’ in 2025.
The facility, currently operated as President Resort Karuizawa, will be rebranded. This will be the fourth Holiday Inn Resort, and the second IHG-operated hotel in Karuizawa. The hotel will feature 100 rooms and two cottages. On-site facilities include a restaurant, natural hot springs, a gym, an indoor pool, a dog hotel, as well as an 18-hole golf course and four ski slopes.
Access is approximately 40 minutes by shuttle bus from Karuizawa Station on the Hokuriku Shinkansen, and about 50 minutes by car from the Usui Karuizawa Interchange on the Joshin-Etsu Expressway.
