Qatar Airways Aircraft Encounters Turbulence over Turkey, 12 Injured
Qatar Airways revealed that flight QR017, a Boeing 787-9 aircraft with the registration A7-BHM, from Doha to Dublin on May 26, encountered turbulence during flight, resulting in minor injuries to some passengers and crew members.
The flight, which departed Doha at 7:55 a.m. on the same day, encountered turbulence while flying over Turkey, according to Dublin Airport. A total of 12 individuals, including 6 crew members and 6 passengers, were injured. The plane arrived in Dublin at 1:04 p.m. on the same day, where emergency services and police were on standby. Eight passengers were transported to the hospital.
