Yurikamome will support boarding at all stations with credit cards compatible with touch payment and QR codes within the fiscal year 2024.
This will be implemented in collaboration with Sumitomo Mitsui Card, Visa Worldwide Japan, JCB, Japan Signal, and QUADRAC.
Passengers can board and alight by touching a card or smartphone, which is compatible with the gate’s newly installed dedicated reader, or by reading a QR code purchased from the ticket sales website. Supported brands include Visa, JCB, American Express, Diners Club, Discover, and UnionPay. Mastercard will be added sequentially.
