Shinagawa Ward in Tokyo will be hosting a “Cashless Payment Point Return Project” from June 1 to June 30.
Eligible stores include local small and medium-sized establishments that have adopted the targeted cashless payment methods. The maximum rebate per payment service provider is equivalent to 2,000 yen per transaction, up to a total of 10,000 yen during the campaign period, amounting to a 20% rebate.
Eligible payment methods include auPAY (code payment), PayPay, d payment, and Rakuten Pay (code, QR, and self-payment), with the timing of point allocation varying by service.
