JAL Offers Special Ticket Handling for Tokyo Haneda Flights on September 21 Due to Typhoon 25
Safran Cabin showcased an in-flight water dispenser at the Aircraft Interiors Expo (AIX) held in Hamburg, Germany, from May 28 to May 30.
The water dispenser, designed to be installed next to the lavatories inside aircraft, provides filtered water directly from the aircraft’s tank. Passengers can fill their own bottles or tumblers, and the area around the spout is sterilized with ultraviolet (UV) light. Although currently providing only water, there’s potential to offer hot water in the future based on demand.
Moreover, by utilizing a greywater reuse system, water used at the washbasin can be recycled for toilet flushing, potentially reducing water usage by up to 200 liters.
