Thai Airways will increase flights on the Nagoya/Chubu to Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi route starting October 28.
Currently operating one round trip per day, an additional four round trips per week will be added, departing from Nagoya/Chubu on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays, and departing from Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. This brings the total to 11 round trips per week. An Airbus A330-300, equipped with 31 business class seats and 263 economy class seats for a total of 294 seats, will be used.
The resumption of late-night flights from Nagoya/Chubu marks the first in about four and a half years since March 2020. This increase aims to meet the growing demand for travel and improve convenience for connections from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Australia.
With this increase, the number of flights connecting Nagoya/Chubu and the two Bangkok airports by Thai Airways to 11 round trips per week, and Thai AirAsia X’s four round trips per week, the total will expand to 15 round trips per week. Before the pandemic, a combined total of 33 round trips per week were operated by Japan Airlines (JAL) and Thai Lion Air.
