Etihad Airways and China Eastern Airlines have agreed to initiate a joint venture, aiming to strengthen their strategic partnership.
This collaboration enables the development and expansion of routes between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and China, offering travelers a wider range of options and a seamless travel experience between key cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Xi’an, Kunming, and Abu Dhabi, as well as major cities in the Middle East and Africa.
Subject to regulatory approvals, the launch is planned for the beginning of 2025, with mutual mileage program collaboration starting in the fourth quarter of this year.
