Jetstar Airways is set to initiate a new route from Brisbane to Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi on December 13th.
Flights from Brisbane will operate on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, while flights from Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, totaling three round trips per week. The Boeing 787-8 will be employed for these flights. With a little over 8 hours flight time, this route will become the only direct service between the two cities, catering to travelers from Asia, the UK, and Europe.
This new route expands Jetstar Airways’ operations into and out of Brisbane to 20 routes, supported by the Queensland Government’s Attraction Aviation Investment Fund (AAIF) and assistance from Brisbane Airport.
