Japan Airlines (JAL) along with J-AIR and Roofy, are launching the integrated air and land “J-AIR Direct Fresh Service”.
Deepening the integrated transportation service “HakoJET” offered by JAL and Roofy, based at Itami Airport, this new distribution service by J-AIR’s Embraer aircraft is specialized in the transportation of specialty products while maintaining their freshness.
Same-day transportation from the departure to arrival points is possible, utilizing J-AIR’s Embraer flights, as long as the transportation date, flight number, and volume are confirmed 5 business days prior to the transport day, except for aviation-restricted items. Pre-approval is also necessary for the products to be considered as contributing to regional businesses and revitalization.
The service enables quality-controlled transportation in three temperature bands: ambient, refrigerated, and frozen. With J-AIR’s regional transportation, it strengthens door-to-door transportation tailored to diverse needs.
