H.I.S. has announced its midterm financial results for the October 2024 fiscal period, recording a net profit of 3.877 billion yen.
Sales reached 161.173 billion yen, operating income was 5.759 billion yen, and ordinary income was 6.082 billion yen.
The travel and hotel business performed well, with overseas travel business, especially in Europe, exceeding expectations. The hotel business saw an increase in room rates due to the rise in visitors to Japan.
The company has revised its full-year performance forecasts upwards, now expecting operating income of 11 billion yen (an increase of 1 billion yen from the previous forecast), ordinary income of 11 billion yen (up by 2 billion yen), and net income of 7 billion yen (an increase of 1 billion yen).
