Japan Airlines (JAL) will increase the mileage required for domestic award tickets through its JAL Mileage Bank from tickets issued on July 11th.
For “Award Tickets PLUS,” which allows reservations by paying more miles than the basic mileage amount even during weekends and peak periods, the maximum mileage required will be increased by 3,000 to 9,500 miles depending on the route.
Additionally, the basic mileage for first class will be increased by 2,000 to 4,000 miles depending on the route.
