Hoshino Resorts RISONARE Yatsugatake will host the ‘Yatsugatake Marché 2024’ from July 13 to August 25.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of the Yatsugatake Marché, an event where local producers sell their proud produce of vegetables and fruits. Aiming at the reduction of food loss, a ‘Sustainable Marché’ selling non-standard vegetables and fruits will be newly established. Corn on the cob shaved ice and cocktails and mocktails using summer vegetables will be offered. A barbecue area will be set up where visitors can grill and eat the vegetables purchased at the marché on the spot.
The prices are: ‘Corn on the Cob Shaved Ice’ for 1,500 yen, cocktails and mocktails each for 1,000 yen, BBQ grill set rental for 1,000 yen, and a vegetable set for 2,000 yen, all tax included.
The location is on the main street ‘Pepper Street’. The marché’s business hours are from 11 AM to 5 PM (ending as soon as the products are sold out). The offering times for various foods and drinks will vary by menu. Admission is free.
