SEOHANSA has reopened the Ambassador Seoul Pullman Hotel.
It has been renamed from the old Ambassador Hotel. Opened in 1955, Korea’s oldest privately-owned hotel has been renewed with the theme of a harmony between “heritage and modern luxury.” The hotel boasts 264 rooms including Superior, Ondol (Korean underfloor heating) rooms, Poolside Suites, and Presidential Suites. Rooms have been made more spacious, and the exterior walls have been replaced with glass to allow for better views.
Restaurants such as the Michelin Guide-selected Chinese restaurant “Hobin (豪賓),” and the full renovation of “1955 Groceria,” which combines a grocery store and a restaurant, have been fully renovated. Facilities include a dome-shaped retractable outdoor pool equipped with jet baths and cabanas, a rooftop banquet space where garden weddings can be held while enjoying the surrounding mountains, and the Club Ambassador Lounge.
Access is about a 5-minute walk from Tongdaemun (Dongdaemun History & Culture Park) Station on Subway Line 3.
