Strings Hotel Tokyo InterContinental is selling ‘Cherry Cake’ from June 17 to July 14.
This limited edition cake, only 20 available per day, uses cherries directly sent from Osho Fruit Orchard in Tendo City, Yamagata Prefecture. A custard pudding flavored with Earl Grey tea and cherries are placed on a pie crust, then baked and topped with either Sato Nishiki or Beni Shuho cherries.
Available at the Cafe & Bar “Rhythmos”. Available from 11:30 AM to 9:00 PM (last order). Price is 1,210 yen for the cake alone and 2,420 yen for a tea set. Both prices are exclusive of service charge and inclusive of tax.
