The Strings Hotel Tokyo InterContinental will host the second instalment of the ‘Gastronomic Theater’ series from June 5 to September 10.
The summer menu will include Chinese cuisine with Italian and Japanese culinary techniques. The course menu features dishes such as grilled abalone with sencha jelly, Shinshu pork and Shinshu miso dumplings, linguine with white shrimp and Kishu Nankou plums, and Kyoto bancha creme brulee. Dinner will exclusively offer dishes made with ingredients like Niigata Prefecture Sado beef and Toyama Prefecture akamutsu.
The venue is the China Shadow restaurant on the 26th floor. Lunch is served from 11:30 AM to 3:00 PM (last order at 2:30 PM), and dinner from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM (last order at 8:00 PM). Prices are 8,250 yen for lunch and 18,700 yen for dinner, service charge not included and tax included.
