Kowa will open the art museum hotel ‘Espacio Hakone Guesthouse Rinpo Kiryu (Rinpo Kiryu)’ on July 4.
The facility consists of nine private residence-type buildings, where rooms are decorated with art that captures various perspectives by creators working with Japan’s traditional technologies such as washi (Japanese paper), karakami (decorative paper), and urushi (lacquer). All guest rooms feature a living dining area and a bedroom, in addition to an indoor bath, open-air bath, and a pool. Some rooms also come with a sauna. The facility is also equipped with a spa featuring an open-air bath, a rock bath, and treatment rooms.
Access is approximately 5 minutes on foot from Hakone Tozan Railway Miyanoshita Station, or about 2 minutes on foot from Miyanoshita Bus Stop on the Hakone Tozan Bus or Izu Hakone Bus.
