Virgin Atlantic has agreed to a code-sharing operation with El Al Israel Airlines, Scandinavian Airlines, and Saudia.
The code-share with El Al Israel Airlines will include up to four round trips a day, including the London/Heathrow to Tel Aviv line, which Virgin Atlantic will resume operation on September 5th. This will allow for mutual earning of miles and the exchange for bonus airline tickets, in addition to offering elite member benefits.
The mutual earning of miles and exchange for bonus airline tickets with Scandinavian Airlines is planned to start after joining SkyTeam on September 1st, with the code-share routes to be announced later.
A mileage partnership is already in place with Saudia, and it will now offer connections from the US to the London/Heathrow to Jeddah-Riyadh and Manchester to Jeddah lines.
