Cathay Pacific will standardize the check-in deadline to 60 minutes before departure across all airports, starting June 25.
This is part of efforts to enhance on-time performance. Consequently, the airline will extend the online check-in availability by 30 minutes, allowing it up to 60 minutes before departure.
Exceptions include mainland China, where local airport authorities have set different requirements from 60 minutes to 40 minutes before departure; Charles de Gaulle in Paris due to infrastructure limitations, imposing a 70-minute deadline; and Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh, where local airport authorities have set a 50-minute deadline.
