Anabuki Enterprises will reopen Ryokan Kurashiki on August 9th.
The renovation includes two wooden buildings over 280 and 320 years old, five guest rooms, a restaurant, and a private bath. The guest rooms are designed to offer a sense of openness, with each room equipped with a bath made from Koyamaki (Japanese umbrella pine) and underfloor heating. The restaurant refreshes six booths with views of the courtyard and introduces two semi-private spaces. The private bath has been redesigned to enjoy the garden view from the bath, now semi-open-air.
