Vietnam Airlines has made its first entry into the Philippines.
The Ho Chi Minh to Manila route started on June 17th, and the Hanoi to Manila route on June 18th. They operate four round trips a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, and three round trips a week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, respectively. The aircraft used for these routes is the Airbus A321. This marks the first time a Vietnamese airline operates routes between Vietnam and the Philippines.
In addition to tourists and business travelers, approximately 30,000 Vietnamese live in the Philippines, and about 7,000 Filipinos live in Vietnam, indicating a significant demand for return travel.
