The Tokyo EDITION Toranomon has started offering ‘MANGO EDITION AFTERNOON TEA’ from June 26.
It features five varieties of mango-inspired desserts including seasonal shortcake and cream puffs, five types of savory dishes that incorporate tropical recipes using summer season’s ingredients, like spicy chicken & mango chutney and a Banh mi-style sandwich with ham & green papaya, in addition to two types of scones. The drink menu includes a fine tea selection.
The location is the 31st floor ‘Lobby Bar’. The tea service is available from noon to 5 p.m. (last order at 4:30 p.m.). The price is 8,500 yen, with an optional ‘Ruinart Blanc de Blancs’ available for 13,000 yen, service charge and tax included.
As summer desserts, parfaits and savarins using seasonal fruits will be provided. The menu includes Melon Parfait (3,200 yen) and Savarin au Rhum Martinique (2,400 yen), both including service charge and tax.
