Japanet Holdings has acquired Yukoyuko Holdings and Yukoyuko.
Japanet Holdings has acquired both companies through a newly established wholly owned subsidiary by way of absorption-type split.
Within the Japanet Group, Japanet Tourism, which is engaged in the travel business, has expanded its travel business to a sales scale of over 15 billion yen since acquiring Type 1 travel agency status in 2017. Yukoyuko operates a lodging reservation business, managing about 3,000 lodging facilities with more than 8.8 million members.
The synergy between Japanet Group’s mail-order business expertise and Yukoyuko’s sales strength to lodging facilities is expected to expand the travel business.
