Rakuten Black Card Opens Application to All Who Meet the Conditions, Abolishing Invitation-Only System

Rakuten Card has begun accepting applications for the “Rakuten Black Card.”

Previously operating on an invitation-only basis, it has now expanded eligibility to those who have been contracted with the “Rakuten Premium Card” for over 12 months and have a total card billing amount of at least 5 million yen over the same period. Applications can be submitted through the member-exclusive online services “Rakuten e-NAVI” or the “Rakuten Card App.”

The Rakuten Black Card offers a maximum credit limit of 10 million yen, including overseas travel insurance, luggage delivery services during travel, access to the Rakuten Card Travel Desk, domestic and international airport lounge access, concierge services, and more. In addition, when using Rakuten Market or Rakuten Travel, preferential points are provided, and for investments through “Rakuten Securities'” investment fund, a 2% point return is given for all eligible products.

Newly added to both the “Rakuten Black Card” and the “Rakuten Premium Card” are the supplementary services of “Rakuten Magazine Light for Rakuten Card” and the “Rakuten Music Bundle Plan.”
