TOSHIN has opened ‘Sapporo Uoichi,’ a seafood and sushi specialty store, at New Chitose Airport on June 28.
Procuring the freshest fish from Hokkaido’s fishing ports, it sells sushi and sashimi, among other products, both refrigerated and frozen. The eat-in space offers the same sushi ingredients for sale, and uses a freezing device ‘Toumin’ that can freeze at 20 times the usual speed, allowing for the sale of frozen souvenir sushi that can be taken away.
The location is on the second floor of the domestic terminal. Business hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
