Switzerland Enhances ‘SWISS Air Rail’ Service with More Cities Covered
Swiss International Air Lines and the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) have enhanced their intermodal service ‘SWISS Air Rail.’
Newly added to the list of covered cities are Vevey, Montreux, Sion, Sierre, Visp, and Brig. Bookings have been accepted since June 11th.
With ‘SWISS Air Rail,’ if there is a delay on a flight or train, an alternative flight will be arranged, and check-in is only needed once. Train tickets are available in digital or paper form, just like boarding passes for flights. First and Business Class passengers can use first-class rail carriages, while Premium Economy and Economy Class passengers have second-class rail carriage access. Similar to flights, passengers can also earn miles for their travel.
