JR West will operate the ‘Mahoroba’ special express trains on weekends and holidays between Osaka and Nara stations from July to September.
The trains are scheduled to run on July 6, 7, 13-15, 20, 21, 27, 28, August 3, 4, 24, 25, 31, September 1, 7, 8, 14-16, 21-23, 28, 29, totaling 25 days. The trains will be composed of a 287 series 3-car formation, with all seats reserved. The reserved seat express fare between Osaka/Shin-Osaka and Nara station is 860 yen for ‘Ticketless Express Tickets,’ and 1,730 yen for regular tickets, with an additional fare required.
