Asiana Airlines has commenced the paid sale of Business Suites on its Airbus A380 aircraft, starting July 1.
The Business Suites, formerly First Class, can be upgraded from Business Class fares booking classes “J/C/D/Z” after the purchase of a ticket by paying an additional fee. The upgrade is available for a total of 12 seats, located in rows 1 to 3.
The boarding period is from September 1 onwards. Upgrades can be made through the reservation center, branch offices, airport, website, and travel agencies until 48 hours before departure. After that time, upgrades can only be done at the airport or ticketing counters.
The upgrade fees are 200,000 Korean Won for Japan, China, and Southeast Asia routes, 350,000 Korean Won for Southeast Asia, Saipan, and Southwest Asia routes, and 850,000 Korean Won for Europe, America, and Oceania routes. To commemorate the launch, these are being offered at discounted rates of 150,000 Korean Won, 300,000 Korean Won, and 700,000 Korean Won respectively.
