Vietnam Airlines has taken delivery of its first Airbus A320neo.
The aircraft is configured with 8 Business Class and 174 Economy Class seats, totaling 182 seats, and allows passengers to enjoy in-flight entertainment via their smartphones. The airline intends to deploy the aircraft primarily on domestic routes such as Hanoi to Dalat/Phu Quoc and Ho Chi Minh City to Thanh Hoa/Chu Lai to meet the increasing demand for domestic travel in Vietnam.
There are plans to introduce three new aircraft within the year, with the Boeing 787-10 also scheduled to be added soon. The Boeing 787-10 aircraft will be deployed on high-demand routes, including those from and to Tokyo/Narita.
