Delta Airlines and Riyadh Air have entered into a strategic partnership.
The partnership will enhance connectivity between North America and Saudi Arabia as well as other regions. Riyadh Air will be the exclusive partner in North America, and Delta Airlines will serve as the exclusive partner in Riyadh and other regions.
Subject to regulatory approval, the partnership aims to include interline and codeshare connectivity, loyalty, customer experience, digital transformation, maintenance, repair and overhaul services, ground operations, and training among a wide range of services, with the possibility of a joint venture in the future.
Delta Airlines plans to eventually introduce direct flights between the United States and Riyadh, envisaging use for both leisure and business purposes.
