Mitsui O.S.K. Passenger Line’s ‘Sunflower Special Sale’ Now On
Mitsui O.S.K. Passenger Line is holding its “Sunflower Special Sale”.
The sale, exclusive to reservations made via their website, offers limited seats for both foot and car plans. The eligible routes are Kobe-Oita and Osaka-Shibushi. The departure dates for outbound (from Kobe and Osaka) are from July 23 to August 7, and for inbound (from Oita and Shibushi) from July 23 to August 11. The use of pet rooms or ladies’ rooms, bicycles & mopeds (under 125cc) & motorcycles, and the combination with other discounts are not allowed. When using the Osaka-Shibushi route, it’s required to select the ‘Sunflower Liner’ (shuttle bus between Shibushi and Kagoshima Chuo Station) at the time of reservation.
The one-way fare for Kobe-Oita route is 12,000 yen for the foot plan, 28,000 yen for the driver in the car plan, 12,000 yen for the accompanying passengers, and 6,000 yen for elementary school children. For the Osaka-Shibushi route, the one-way fee is 16,000 yen for the foot plan, 32,000 yen for the driver in the car plan, 16,000 yen for the accompanying passengers, and 8,000 yen for elementary school children. All fares include a private bed cabin and two meals, tax included. Infants sleep for free if they share a bed, but if they are over four years old, a separate meal fee must be paid onboard. The deadline for applications is 5 days prior to departure.
