JR Kyushu will operate special trains on the Nippo Main Line and the Nichinan Line during the evening after the concert of Hinatazaka46, titled ‘Hinata Fest 2024’, which will be held at Sun Marine Stadium Miyazaki on September 7th and 8th.
On the Nippo Main Line, special express trains ‘Hinatazaka46-go’ and ‘Ohisama’ will be in operation. ‘Hinatazaka46-go’ will operate at the same time as Hyuga No.16, which will be suspended. It departs Nanmiyazaki Station at 10:38 PM, stops at Miyazaki Station (departing at 10:42 PM) among others, and arrives at Nobeoka Station at 11:52 PM. The train will consist of 6 cars, with the first car being a Green car, the second car a reserved seat, and cars three to six offering non-reserved seating.
The ‘Ohisama’ special express will run from Miyazaki Station to Kagoshima-Chuo Station, stopping at Nanmiyazaki, Miyakonojo, Saito, Kobayashi, Isa, and Kagoshima among other stations. ‘Ohisama 1’ departs Miyazaki Station at 9:49 PM, Nanmiyazaki Station at 9:53 PM, and arrives at Kagoshima-Chuo Station at 12:05 AM. It consists of four cars, with the first car a Green and reserved seat, and cars two through four non-reserved seating. ‘Ohisama 3’ departs Miyazaki Station at 10:42 PM, Nanmiyazaki Station at 10:48 PM, and arrives at Kagoshima-Chuo Station at 12:55 AM. It consists of four carriages, with the car 1 being a Green and reserved seat, and cars 1 and 2 reserved seating, and cars 3 and 4 non-reserved seating.
On the Nichinan Line, additional trains will be operated from Kaobana Station, the nearest station to the venue, to Nanmiyazaki Station. About a 20-minute interval is planned for the time slot from the end of the concert until the last train, with more than 12 trains including regular services. Boarding and alighting at intermediate stations are not possible for these special trains. Detailed timetables will be announced after August 23. Note that Kaobana Station is outside the SUGOCA area, so various IC cards are not available.
