Japan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs Advises Caution Due to Curfew Orders in Bangladesh
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has issued a spot information alert advising caution due to the imposition of a curfew order in Bangladesh.
The Government of Bangladesh has issued a curfew order effective from the night of July 19 local time. The curfew is in place from 12:00 AM to 12:00 PM on July 20, and from 2:00 PM on July 20 to 10:00 AM on July 21. The status after July 21 is unknown. Additionally, all forms of communication, other than telephone, are highly unstable.
